Ways to Give

Joseph P. Pizzurro, M.D.  A Doctor's Day Letter from Joseph Pizzurro, M.D.

If one of our Valley doctors has made a difference in your life, I’d like to offer you the opportunity to make a difference in theirs.

Our doctors work tirelessly to improve the health and well-being of our patients and their families. They train, they study, they gain experience all in an effort to ensure that you get the best possible care right here at home.

As an orthopedic surgeon for more than 40 years, I’ve come to know hundreds of the doctors on our staff. I know how dedicated they are to caring for people in our community, people like you. Valley is an extraordinary hospital. What makes it extraordinary is the people. There are brilliant physicians on our staff who work extremely hard and are committed to their patients.

Right now, I invite you to recognize that commitment to you by honoring the doctor or doctors who made a difference for you.

On March 30, hospitals and communities around the country will observe National Doctor’s Day. At Valley, we will join this effort by celebrating the talented physicians who faithfully serve our community. Truly, there is no greater honor for our doctors than to hear first-hand from patients whose lives they have touched and changed.

By clicking Donate Now, you can make a donation to The Valley Hospital Foundation in honor of your physician.  You can write your personal thanks to your doctor in the comments section.  We will be sure to pass forward your comments to your doctor, letting them know that you have honored them (donation amounts will remain confedential). Your words will affirm the commitment of an exceptional physician, and your donation will support the critical programs and services we offer every day at The Valley Hospital.

Every year on Doctor’s Day, I receive notes from my patients. They’re always so appreciative of the care we’ve provided. Sometimes I’m surprised by their gratitude because the truth is, helping people is my job. That’s what I’m supposed to do. I enjoy it. And that spirit is shared by people all around The Valley Hospital. Knowing my patients have done well is all the reward I need, but I know that someday, I’ll take out all those notes I’ve collected over the years, read them again, and remember the patients I cared for in my time at Valley.

Thank you in advance for helping us celebrate not only the talents and achievements of our most remarkable doctors, but also the incomparable role they play in the lives of people like you. Your gift will help further our commitment to delivering the highest quality patient care, always.

Sincerely,

 Joseph P. Pizzurro, M.D.
