Who We Are

The Valley Hospital Foundation Hosts Annual Legacy Luncheon

On April 13, 2016, Legacy donors to the Valley Hospital Foundation gathered at The Ridgewood Country Club to view an interesting presentation about the aging brain.  Bettina Daly, Director, Gift Planning and Major Gifts, welcomed the guests along with Anastasios Kozaitis, President of the Valley Hospital Foundation.   Each year, the Valley Hospital Foundation is the fortunate recipient of legacy gifts that were planned by thoughtful, forward-looking donors. Through provisions in their wills and other long-term plans, these special donors make gifts that provide support to programs and services that might not have otherwise been possible without their support.  This luncheon allows the Foundation to celebrate their generous foresight.   More than 60 people were in attendance, and the featured speaker was Dr. Bennett Leifer, M.D., the Director of the Transition of Care Consultative Service of Valley Medical Group and Medical Director of Van Dyk Health Care, who presented “ Your Aging Brain: Lifestyle Choices to Maximize Memory Fitness.”
