Nancy V. Bush Named Chair of The Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees
The Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees recently elected Nancy V. Bush as the Chair of the Board, bringing more than three decades of dedicated service, leadership, and philanthropy to the Valley community. Her longstanding commitment to Valley began in 1995 as a volunteer with the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, where she quickly emerged as a dynamic leader, chairing numerous successful fundraisers, serving as Auxiliary President, and later as Co-Chair of the Saddle River Branch.
A Saddle River resident for more than 20 years and a Foundation Trustee since 2015, Nancy has been one of Valley’s most passionate ambassadors. She and her husband, Jim, share a deep personal connection to the hospital: Jim and two of their sons were born at Valley, and their entire family has experienced firsthand the exceptional care that Valley provides. In appreciation, the Bush family has supported Valley through decades of personal philanthropy, most recently making a generous contribution to the new hospital. In recognition of their commitment, the Serenity Oasis in the second floor lobby has been named in their honor.
Nancy is a founding member of Women for Health and has served in several leadership roles within the Foundation, including Secretary and Vice Chair of the board. As Chair, Nancy looks forward to continuing to work alongside the Board, Foundation staff, and hospital leadership to advance Valley’s mission, strengthen community impact, and support the future of exceptional healthcare in our community.
