Step Up for Valley Raises Nearly $68,000 to Support Cardiac Obstetrics Initiative

This year’s Step Up for Valley event, an annual virtual fitness challenge encouraging participants to get active, have fun, and support The Valley Hospital, raised nearly
$68,000 to support Valley patients.

This year’s event supported Valley’s Cardio-OB initiative, a program that cares for pregnant and postpartum mothers with hypertensive disorders during and after pregnancy.

Participants earned points by completing activities such as walking, running, biking, rowing, playing pickleball, and doing yoga, and won great prizes and bragging rights along the way.

Now in its fourth year, Step Up for Valley has raised more than $290,000 to support various programs and services throughout Valley Health System.
