The Damian Izsa Scholarship program provides financial support to exemplary employees who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare in preparation for career advancement within Valley Health System.

The Damian Izsa Scholarship program was established in honor of Damian Izsa, a former employee at The Valley Hospital who passed away in November 2010. Damian began his career as a central processing aide in The Valley Hospital Operating Room (OR), advanced his career by becoming a surgical technician, and then obtained his undergraduate degree in nursing.

Damian was known for his commitment to his profession and his love of the OR, along with his desire to advance his professional development.
